Buying Harry Potter Books

I personally cant wait, loved the book and all the other films. trailer looks awesome. anyone know when its out in UK on DVD/Blu Ray?

Probably around christmas that’s when they normally come out. The trailer looks so awesome! I’ve watched it so many times now :]

I am a HUGE harry potter fan, and I was just wondering if anyone knows the official release date for the Half Blood Prince DVD? I’ve been looking on some big Harry Potter sites, but I’m not sure if they’ve got it right. Thanks!

I just want to know if i’m not the only completely crazy one I listen to the audio books before I go to bed so I think I have probly listened to each one 10-20+ times now.
Also, which is your favorite. I think they all have their strong points, I like order of the phoenix a lot. I wish the 7th would have taken place at Hogwarts, I was supremely disappointed when it wasn’t, but it still turned out good.

omg okay so me and my friends were talking about the new harry potter film well HP in general and we came across thast whole wand thing you know how harry doesn’t die cas he’s the owner od the wand and malfoys wand has something to do with it anyway we were trying to figure it out like why snape used mayfolys wand and so on and how harry comes to own it if any one knows thats would put my mind at rest

I can’t really understand what you are saying because your sentences don’t make sense. However, if you’re talking about why Harry is the true owner of the Elder Wand, here goes:

- Dumbledore intended Snape to kill him so that the power of the Elder Wand would die with him.
- Before Snape got the chance to kill Dumbledore, Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore.
- This made Malfoy the owner of the wand.
- When Harry, Ron and Hermione get caught and end up at the Malfoy’s Manor, Harry disarms Malfoy.
- Harry is now the true owner of the Elder Wand
- Voldermort believes Snape is the owner of the elder wand so he kills him – he was wrong.
- The Elder Wand recognises Harry as its true master during the final duel and Voldermorts spell backfires and kills him

I believe that the reason Harry doesn’t die is because a piece of Voldermort’s soul was imprinted into Harry and this kept him alive. When Voldermort used the killing curse on Harry in the Forbidden Forest, the small part of Voldermort’s soul that was in Harry was killed instead of Harry’s soul.

@ Bellatrix: oh yeah, I forgot about the love protection thingy. Although,I still think that what I said above is a part of why he survived.

I heard that a website offers u free reading of the Harry Potter books online. Is it more like the creators of the website are service minded n generous? Or are they earning by making those sites, a costly visit?

I think by "service minded and generous" you may mean "copyright violators and criminals."
