he is dead before he reaches the curtain. the curtain is just a….thing j.k used to help describe that he can’t come bakc…otherwise he would still be alieve floating in wherever the curtain takes u. and j.k wouldn’t let them put it in the movie if it wasn’t true.

I think they made a really big mistake when Harry’s fighting that Death Eater alongside Sirius; because they show him using non-verbal spells (except expelliarmus) and he can’t do them :S
The bit where Harry is yelling silently is an amazing piece of work.

Sirius was hit by …
Sirius was hit by an unnamed spell, i’ll quote straight from teh book!
“Harry saw sirius duck bellatrix’s jet of RED light: he was laughing at her..bla bla…the second jet of light hit him squarely on the chest” — Red light, most probably stupefy, also the veil is a gateway to ‘death’ as it may be.. it however, is a one way trip, so if you read the book it says how harry is waiting for sirius to fall throug, but he doesnt.. this is because obviously he has fallen into death.

So read the passage once more and I dare you to try and make an arguement against me. Do not argue with someone who has already made sure of the facts. I know how Sirius died, and if you really belive he died solely because he fell through the veil, then you need to read that particular part of the book once more.
