When will Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows come out on DVD?
I know the Half Blooded Prince is now at the Cinema and it should be on DVD in November. I’m just wondering when the 7th one will be in cinemas and then come out on DVD to complete the whole story of Harry Potter. When will this happen?
I believe the Deathly Hallows will be broken into two separate movies. One to be released in 2010 and the second to be released in 2011.
The DVD will probably be released 6 to 9 months after the movie hits the theatres. Maybe in time for Christmas 2010 and 2011.

I’d say you’d be waiting at least another year, probably longer. And that’s only the first half of the Deathly Hallows.

I think the movie is split into two separate parts, considering it’s gonna be very long. If you live in the US or the UK, it comes out in cinemas November 19th 2010.. So it’ll probably be on DVD Spring 2011.

In most cases they release the DVD between four and six months after the cinematic release.
So Half Blood Prince will probably come out in November in time for Christmas.
Part 1 of Deathly Hollows is due for release November 2010 and Part 2 is due July 2011. The individual DVD releases will be probably about Easter 2011 for the first and November 2011 for the second, although no doubt there will be a combined one as well…

The 2nd DH film is 2011 (at the cinema) so I would expect it to be released four months after this…Nov/Dec 2011? Ready for the Christmas market?
Then expect re-released box sets and all sorts of money-grabbing merchandise.

might i point out that there is a thousand harry potter fan sites that could have told you this?….but here goes;
the seventh movie will be split into 2 parts. part one is set to hit cinema’s in November, 2010. Part two is due out the following July, 2011.
There is no word yet on the DVDs and when they’ll be released, we don’t yet know if they’ll be releasing it part by part or wait until both parts are out and include them both in one, what ever the case, you’ll most likely need to wait at least 6-9 months after the release in cinema for the DVD.
In the meantime WB is said to be re-releasing the entire saga up to what it’s at with extended versions of the same films. there is no word yet on if it will just include the deleted scenes in their places, or brand new scenes of which we’ve never seen. Rumors are also fluttering around that after all HP movies have been officially released, and are done and over with WB is in talks to put into production The Tales of Beedle the Bard, but fans are 50/50 on this, and nothing has been confirmed nor commented on by WB or, more importantly, JK Rowling herself.

Dude, I know we’re desperate and loyal fans and all but chillax. The film hasn’t even hit the theaters yet. Now am just anxious to get HP:THBP in DVD as soon as is out.

well part one comes out november 2010, and part 2 comes out july 2011, it usually takes about 4 or 5 months for a movie to be released to dvd, so i would estimate the dvds would come out in march of the following year

I think that the movie will be in theaters in November 2010. The DVD should come out summer 2011, or earlier maybe. So not for a while, unfortunately

They nearly always release the DVD’s 5 months after being shown in cinemas.
