Harry Potter Wands
Author: Admin
The Harry Potter wand is probably the most famous wand of all time. It is made from holly wood, with a phoenix feather core donated by Albus Dumbledore’s magical familiar, Fawkes. The phoenix also gave other to create a second wand. This belonging to Tom Riddle, later known as Voldemort, and was the “brother” to the harry Potter wand.
Harry Potter obtained his wand from Ollivander’s Wand shop just before his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He tried many other wands first with varying levels of success but it was not until he held the holly wood wand that he knew which one was meant to be his.
Harry has used his wand to great effect throughout his adventures including his epic battle with Voldemort himself. During this battle Harry’s wand forced Voldemort’s to regurgitate its spells, resulting in the spirits of James and Lily Potter and the recently-murdered Cedric Diggory to emerge. This gave Harry enough time to escape.
Harry Potter wands have been sold in all sorts of shapes and sizes over the years and can now be found easily on the internet. Many children dream of owning the magical stick that is the Harry potter wand. They are then free to play out their own adventure.
