Discover Buying Harry Potter Books

Feel free to ask me any questions :-)

As I said in the first video, these wands are made by the Noble Collection. They are all made out of a material called resin. Through much vigorous wand waving (when I was home alone of course mwhaha), I can safely say they hold up, but can’t withstand being dropped on a hard surface.

Part two shows my adult wands. In order of appearance they are:

-Albus Dumbledores
-Lord Voldemorts
-Proffesor Mcgonagalls
-Remus Lupins (Moony)
-Severus Snapes
-Sirius Blacks
-Mad Eye Moodys

I do not have Umbridges, Lestranges, or Luciuss Wands. Maybe someday

As I described in the end, be patient. These wands sell for $35.00 with $6 or so dollars in shipping. Usually if you wait you can get free shipping, or by calling up Noble Collection and seeing if they will work with you (which they normally do).

Other than the Noble Collection website you can purchase these wands from the WBshop, or Ebay. Used can mean like new on ebay, but make sure you see some detailed pictures before you buy anything.

Remember: Never pay more than $35.00 for one of these wands, wait for discounts/free shipping and make sure youre able to exchange if you get a poor quality wand.

Thanks for watching, and good luck! Hope this helped :-)

Joanne “Jo” Murray, better known under the pen name J. K. Rowling, is a British author who is the creator of the Harry Potter fantasy series.

The series consist of seven novels that show Harry Potter throughout his seven years at Hogwarts and his battle with Lord Voldemort. The idea was thought of while J.K. Rowling, who was born 31 July 1965, was on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990.

The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, and sold more than 400 million copies. J.K. Rowling Aside has also written a book about her “rags to riches” life story that discusses how she went from being on welfare and food stamps to becoming a multi-millionaire status within five years because of the success of the Harry Potter books. The 2008 Sunday Times Rich List estimated Rowling’s fortune at £560 million ($798 million), ranking her as the twelfth richest woman in Britain. She was also ranked by Forbes as the forty-eighth most powerful celebrity of 2007 and Time magazine named her as a runner-up for its 2007 Person of the Year, noting the social, moral, and political inspiration she has given her fandom.

She has become a notable philanthropist, supporting such charities as Comic Relief, One Parent Families, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain, and the Children’s High Level Group.

There are a number of characters in the Harry Potter books. We will look at a few of the main characters here.

The main character of the books is of course Harry Potter himself. Harry’s parents died when he was young, and he lived with his aunt and uncle until he was 11. At that age, he was told he was a wizard, and he started attending Hogwarts to hone his skills as a wizard.

Harry’s first friend in the books is Ron Weasley. They meet on the train going to Hogwarts their first year, and become fast friends. Ron comes from a large magical family, and Harry is soon accepted into by their family. Ron is in the Gryffindor house at Hogwarts, along with Harry.

Hermione Granger is another friend of Harry and Ron’s. Early on in their schooling, Hermione is quite a know-it-all, and is not well liked. However, she eventually befriends Ron and Harry, and the three quickly become inseparable. Hermione is a Muggle born, meaning her parents were not wizards. Even so, she is the best student of their year at Hogwarts.

Fred & George Weasley are twin brothers, older than Ron. They are the trouble makers at Hogwarts, and after they leave the school, they start a joke shop which becomes quite successful.

Draco Malfoy is a boy that Harry meets before school begins at Hogwarts, who is cocky and pompous. He his in the Slytherin house, and is known for his disdain towards Muggle born students. His family has been associated with dark wizards in the past.

Voldemort, known also as Tom Riddle, is a former student at Hogwarts who has turned himself into the darkest wizard of all time. He is often known as “He Who Must Not Be Named” and is the head of a bad group of wizards known as the Death Eaters.

Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster at Hogwarts and is one of Harry’s mentors. He teaches Harry a number of things, and is said to be the only wizard that Voldemort fears.

There is an extensive list of characters in the Harry Potter books, but above we have broken down some of the most significant characters. Full lists of all characters can be found online in a variety of sources, or by reading the books.

The Harry Potter series has become one of the most popular series of books of all time.

Here, we will break down the order of the books in this popular series. The first book is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and in this book, we meet Harry and the other main characters.

We are introduced to the wizarding world along with Harry, and he attends his first year at Hogwarts. This first book also marks Harry’s first encounter with Lord Voldemort.

The second book is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In this book, attacks are being done at the school on unwitting students, and there is a threat that Hogwarts will be closed if the attacker isn’t found and stopped. Harry encounters a younger version of Lord Voldemort in this second book.

The third book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. For the first time ever, a wizard has broken out of the wizard’s prison known as Azkaban. He is reportedly after Harry, but Harry learns some interesting things about his parents friends and who his enemies are.

The fourth book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In this book, there is an inter-school competition being held at Hogwarts, with competitors from foreign wizarding schools coming to compete head to head in a number of challenges. When Harry’s name shows up as one of the contestants, he is in for a roller coaster ride ending with another meeting with Lord Voldemort.

In book 5, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Lord Voldemort is back. The Ministry of Magic denies his reappearance, however, so a group known as the Order of the Phoenix reunites to quietly fight against him.

Book 6 is called Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry begins to meet with Dumbledore to learn more about Lord Voldemort, in a hope to be able to fight against him in the future. The book ends with a dramatic fights.

The final book is called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and it follows Harry through some searching to find things to make Voldemort more easily defeated, and ends with the ultimate battle of good vs. evil.

All in all, the 7 books in the Harry Potter series follow a vast array of topics and have found a lot of success.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first hit UK bookstores in 1997, bringing with it a worldwide frenzy demanding more.

In the twelve years since since Harry Potter was made available to the public, over 400 million copies of the seven-book series (not counting the equally popular companion textbooks) have been sold worldwide, translated into 66 different languages. Each new installment was released every few years over the course of a decade, sending millions of children, teenagers, and adults to bookstores at midnight of the latest book’s debut. Six of the books have been made into wildly popular movies, breaking records at the box office.

The final book is to be made into two films. The seven books chronicle Harry’s childhood as an orphan wizard, from ages 11 to 17. His destiny is to defeat the evil Lord Voldemort, who murdered his parents and countless others. Each book presents a mystery for Harry and his friends to solve, more often than not resulting in a face-off with Voldemort himself. The plot twists in every installment, creating circumstances that are never quite what they seem.

The series provides an excellent analogy to what it means to grow up, and teaching the importance of friendship, loyalty, and love. Children across the globe have grown up with Harry, discovering friendship, romance, and anger along with him, while adults have watched him mature, remembering their own youth that somehow wasn’t that different from a schoolboy wizards’. Very few people are immune to the entrancing magic of Harry Potter, and the lessons his story offers.
